Our tour started late today so we went for a walk at Legian Beach, since it's only 5 minutes walk from my hotel.
Legian Beach. The beach is wide but rather dirty, I'll have to say. It's shameful that they do not maintain the beach in one of the most famous islands in the world.
Outside the resort of the beach.
A guy with full pedicure. hehe. sh*tz im so kepo damnit
Uluwatu cliffs
Uluwatu is actually a temple where the locals worship their Gods. However, we're not allowed to enter the temple, but we were allowed to walk around it.
Uluwatu temple.
One of the Uluwatu cliffs. Very, very beautiful. But the very bad photographer --> I wasn't able to capture the whole scenery.
Another cliff.
Naughty monkeys in Uluwatu. They robbed some of the tourists' slippers.
Another magnificent view of the cliff.
Me.
GWK Statues
The statues are stone-cut. You can see how beautiful their carvings are.
This is the statue of their Vishnu God, if I'm not mistaken. It's still half done.
Galungan statue. Once they are finished, the Vishnu and Galungan statues will be combined into one.
These are all cut into cubic shapes. They were originally a stone mountain.
See how tall isit.
Tanah Lot
Another temple which is located at the middle of the sea. Kinda. Worshipers can only go inside and pray when the tide is low.
The temple.
Didn't walk over as it was super slippery.
Mom and the market.
To be continued..
