Summing up

I'm sorry because I broke my promise of blogging more often muahaha and I've spent about one and a half month of holidays staying at home. I'm not saying that it's boring, don't get me wrong. I think my holiday's probably not as boring as it should be because my mom's a fulltime housewife now, after retirement. So, we spent most of our times together and now that Chinese New Year is around the corner, we spent our times baking cookies. I've baked chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies last week. We're now working on the infamous pineapple tarts, and we made them this afternoon but the pastry is not that satisfying. I think it's the problem with the recipe. Actually, I wasn't a big fan of pineapple tarts, but that changed last year. My roommie brought along her homemade pineapple tarts to Miri last year and I kinda helped myself with the whole jar (so damn buay paiseh) because her's really satisfied my taste buds and I kept going for more.

So besides baking cookies, going for vacations and hanging around at home, I also spent some time with friends. :)

Stayed 2 nights at Sematan Palm Beach Resort with my peeps. Sad to say, Carina and I were the only girls because my other girlfriends couldn't make it. However, it was fun although the service at the resort weren't that good. We were addicted to the Big Two (Cho Dai Di) and still are now. That's why I always say, it's the people we go with, and not where we go. ;)

Me, my cousins(my childhood playmates) and my aunt who has the same age as my eldest bro. hehe. I went to my cousins' Christmas family potluck on Christmas Eve. To my surprise, both of my cousins actually brought their boyfriends along. Lol. Anyway, it was fun seeing everybody under one roof again.

Forgive the bad resolution. Me, PeiJun and SiewLing finally met up and went to "Winter Wonderland" beside Chung Hua Primary School No.3 (my former primary school) and got conned. RM5 leh!!can buy laksa

Bad news: I'm still sick after 5 to 6 weeks of cough and runny nose. Going to see the doctor again tomorrow and it will be the third doctor so far. Urg. Hopefully no more to come.
