Curtin Foundation 2009-2010

24th June marks the end of my foundation year. Yes, I'm officially going to university in this coming August. Sad to say, I'm no longer a 2E5 student anymore, and I'll definitely miss my adorable classmates, tutors and lecturers.

These are the past experiences of my whole foundation year:

Sem1

1. Had Angelina as my roommate. I communicated with her for the first time in my life although we were schoolmates for like 5 years. LOL.

2. Lived in Curtin Villa. Both of us got bitten by anonymous insects while we were hanging our clothes outside. -.-

3. I got sick, and the doctor thought I might have H1N1. Roommie caught my bug and got sick too. I'm grateful that we recovered.

4. We had two mice in our room. One had a fat ass and another one was uber skinny. Villa people got rid of them after 1 bloody month. ciken.

5. Two of us finally had friends and a group of our own. They are Kenny, Kai, Raymond and MZ.

6. However, we got rid of MZ eventually because she was such an irresponsible *****. Kenny was right and I was stupid enough to not believe him. Hurray. She left Curtin because she realised that she's not interested in her course. Thank God.

7. Roommie and I joined the John Curtin Weekend program to the Iban longhouse, Rumah Johnson. I was lucky enough to be chosen to stay with a rich foster family. They let me sleep in an air-conditioned room with a queen-sized bed. LOL! Well, that's not the point. It was a really great experience I hafta say. :DD

8. I had one of the worse haircuts in my life. Yeah, the horrible haircut photos are STILL displayed in facebook to haunt me. haha.

Mom insisted to cut my fringe by using her "super pro new scissors" when I went back for tuition free week. Obviously, it was a HUGE mistake of mine.

9. Had some problems with roommie but it's all great now. :DD

10. I suck bigtime in C++ Programming. Really, all I knew what to do was cout things only. Mahsa rescued me by teaching me everything from the first lecture til the last the day before my viva interview. She's such an angel and I couldn't thank her enough :)) It's such a pity that Mahdis and Mahsa did not continue their studies in Curtin because they were doing so well. All the best to them!!:))

11. After our finals, we went to the beach to celebrate and took nice nice photos :)))

Seems like Sem 1 was not a great time for me, but I'm glad that we all went through it together.

Sem2

1. Moved into a new house which is infested by AWESOME housemates!!:DD We are not very close to them but I'm thankful to have them. They are all very very cute and helpful people ^^

2. I still share a room with Angelina and I love the room! It's clean and bright and comfy. Roommie is very the sot-sot and sometimes annoying this year. Dunno why hahahaha.

3. We are still best friends with Kenny Kai and Raymond but this sem, we know more about our classmates and they are all very very very cute and nice!

4. Had 3 presentations in 2 weeks. I'm not impress with myself because they are not as good as the one I did in Chemistry 1. But what to do, I guess I tried my best. *shrugs*

5. Celebrated 4 birthdays in Kenny's house. I love birthdays because they always make me feel like home. Guess I found my second family away from home :) All celebrations have 5 stages which are: surprise, birthday wish, cake eating, pay money and chit-chat hahaha.
They are my family away from home. They're all guys but they are like brothers to me and angel.

6. Mom and dad came to visit us and stayed at our house. Mom was like a toilet-cleaning pro and kept on telling me how to make our toilet spotless. Dad came to the rescue when our bathroom was clogged. We also went for a Brunei trip which was absolutely fun!! I think Mom's mood was really good because she bought me 2 dresses, a skirt and a sweater when we went shopping. hahahaha

7. Became a volunteer for Curtin Race with Angel, Kenny and Toh. It was fun! But that was the time when my legs became charcoal. lol.

Sem 2 was a blast and time was so fast moving during this semester. I really enjoyed this sem though. I still wanna thank my classmates and friends for giving me a great time and my lecturers for cracking their heads to prepare us for our future :)) Thank you so mucchhh!!

Love you guys! It's been a pleasure to study with you all. I've learnt so much :))
